Luke Air Force Base Change of Command Ceremony

July 1st, 2024 - Governor Hobbs attends the Change of Command Ceremony at Luke Air Force Base to recognize the service of Brigadier General Jason M. Rueschhoff and celebrate the new leadership of General David "Ajax" Berkland.

St. Vincent de Paul OZ II Grand Opening

This is a ribbon-cutting celebration of St. Vincent de Paul’s (SVdP) new 100-bed transitional shelter (named Ozanam Manor II, or “OZ II”) for unhoused seniors, veterans and adults with disabilities on the nonprofit’s main campus at 2120 S. 3rd Dr. The new addition is a $20-million project made possible by city, county and state funding as well as private donations. The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) contributed $10 million in total to this project, including $6 million in Housing Trust Funds (previous administration), and $4 million in FY24 Homeless Shelter and Services Funds (secured through last year’s bipartisan budget) to this project.
