WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the State of Arizona to have an efficient government that continually evaluates its initiatives and executive policy directives and the Hobbs Administration is therefore conducting an ongoing evaluation of existing Executive Orders; and

WHEREAS, prior Executive Orders that may have served the interests of the State at the time of issuance are now outdated or no longer necessary.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Katie Hobbs, Governor of the State of Arizona, by virtue of the power vested in me by the Arizona Constitution and the laws of this State, hereby order and direct as follows:

The following Executive Orders are hereby repealed, effective as of the date of this Executive Order:

• Executive Order 2011-08.
  Note: The council created by this Executive Order is not operating and the Hobbs Administration is advancing Arizona education through more current initiatives.
• Executive Order 2013-02.
  Note: The council created by this Executive Order is not operating and the Hobbs Administration is promoting land and natural resource management through more current initiatives.
• Executive Order 2024-01.
  Note: This Executive Order relates to a public records request that is no longer in dispute.

Nothing in this Executive Order shall extend the effect of any prior Executive Order to the extent such prior Executive Order expired or was otherwise not in effect prior to the date hereof.

This Executive Order shall not confer any legal rights or remedies upon any person and shall not be used as a basis for legal challenges to any action or inaction of a State Agency, officer, employee, or agent thereof.

If any provision of this Executive Order or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid by any court or competent jurisdiction, such invalidity does not affect any other provision or application of this Executive Order that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application. To achieve this purpose, the provisions of this Executive Order are declared to be severable.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon signature.
