April 25th, 2025 - Governor Katie Hobbs meets with construction apprentices and announces progress on her BuildItAZ initiative, which aims to create a robust construction talent pipeline and connect Arizonans to family-sustaining jobs. In addition to announcing that BuiltItAZ has helped connect nearly 3,000 Arizonans to building and trades apprenticeships, she announces the grant recipients of the second round BuildItAZ funding and $3 million for the third round of BuildItAZ funding.
