PHOENIX ‒ At an annual event hosted by WESTMARC and the West Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance, Governor Ducey today delivered his State of the State address to West Valley business leaders, elected officials and residents. In relaying his core priorities and plans for the legislative session, the governor highlighted several assets that make the West Valley a premiere place to build, relocate or grow a business.

"In addition to unmatched transportation infrastructure, top-tier education institutions and a booming business environment, the West Valley is also home to Luke Air Force Base," said Governor Ducey. "Few things have a greater impact on Arizona's economy than our world-renowned military installations, and with the recent addition of the F-35 Lightning II -- the most advanced fighter aircraft ever built -- Luke and the city of Glendale are well-positioned to attract jobs, investment and opportunity to the West Valley. As governor, I will be a strong champion for the region's businesses, military missions and any effort that advances economic development throughout the region."
