PHOENIX — On Monday, Governor Doug Ducey will join legislative leaders and state health officials to sign a call for a special session of the Legislature in order to give priority consideration to legislation combating the opioid epidemic.On Friday, the governor, in conjunction with legislative leaders of both parties, released The Arizona Opioid Epidemic Act, comprehensive legislation to address opioid addiction and overdose deaths through actions like expanding treatment and improving enforcement and oversight.
