Governor Doug Ducey Orders Lowering of Flags for Marine Killed in Crash at MCAS Yuma

PHOENIX - Governor Doug Ducey has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff until sunset today, Friday, March 13, 2015, in honor of Lance Cpl. Anthony T. DuBeau. 

DuBeau, 23, was killed Wednesday morning when a civilian aircraft crashed on a runway at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. 

"It's a sad day for our state and country as we mourn the loss of a brave Marine and a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with Lance Cpl. DuBeau's family, MCAS Yuma personnel and all the Marines who said goodbye to a brother in uniform this week. I ask that all Arizonans keep Lance Cpl. DuBeau and his loved ones in your hearts during this tragic time, and continue to pray for the safety of all of our nation's servicemen and women." 

The governor has directed that flags also be lowered on the day of his interment, for which services are pending.
