Q. How much does it cost to get a CoppeRX® Card?
A. It’s free. There is no charge for the CoppeRX® Card. 

Q. How do I get a CoppeRX® Card?
A. You can get a CoppeRX® Card by clicking  here and printing your card now or by calling the toll-free number 1-888-227-8315.

Q. Am I eligible for a CoppeRX® Card?
A. You are eligible for the card if you are a resident of Arizona.

Q. Are there any restrictions on the types of drugs that I can get discounts on?
A. No. You can get a discount on every prescription medication. 

Q. What are the discounts?
A. Discounts off of the average wholesale price (AWP) vary depending on whether you are buying brand name or generic drugs and whether you buy them in a retail pharmacy or through mail order. On average the discounts are as follows:

  • Brand—retail pharmacy 15% 
  • Brand—mail order 20% 
  • Generic—retail pharmacy 35% 
  • Generic—mail order 55% 

PLEASE NOTE: these are average percentage discounts. Actual discounts will vary by pharmacy and by prescription medication. Specific prescription prices change frequently; therefore, if you are comparing prices, you should do so as close in time to the date of your purchase as possible.

Q. Can I have both a CoppeRX® Card and belong to a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan?
A. If you are on Medicare Part D, payments using the CoppeRX® Card may count towards your true out-of-pocket expenses. Please contact your Part D plan for more information.

Q. Can I use the CoppeRX® Card if my health plan doesn’t cover all of my prescriptions?
A. Yes. Unlike health plans, the CoppeRX® Card has NO formulary restrictions, so you can use it on any prescription medications that you purchase. 

Q. When will the CoppeRX® Card expire?
A. There is no expiration date for the CoppeRX® Card.

Q. Where can I use the CoppeRX® Card?
A. The CoppeRX® Card is accepted at approximately 1000 participating pharmacies across Arizona, including:

Bashas'
Costco
CVS/Pharmacy
Fry’s Food and Drug 
K-Mart 
Osco 
Safeway 
Sav-On
Target 
United Drug Pharmacies
Walgreens
Walmart

Q. What if I still cannot afford my prescription medications with the CoppeRX® Card discount?
A. Pharmaceutical companies have special programs for low-income individuals and families. For more information on these programs you can contact the partnership for Prescription assistance at 1-888-477-2669 or visit their Web site at www.pparx.org.
