· President and majority owner of Pivot Manufacturing, an SBA certified HUBZone and Hispanic-owned contract manufacturing company with a focus on machining & assembly.
· Turned company around during manufacturing downturn and have increased sales by over 200% during last two years. When Pivot was acquired in 2000, company had only one major customer, now have 12 Fortune 500 customers.
· Negotiated with General Dynamics C4 Systems in Scottsdale to partner with Pivot in Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé program.
· 2003-2004 nominee for Nunn-Perry Dept. of Defense award. Annual award is given nationally to businesses that have best expanded their capabilities over previous year.
· Pivot named “Small Business Manufacturer of the Year” for 2004 in Arizona by Minority Business Development Agency.
Abbott Laboratories 1989-1999
· Territory manager, California & Arizona. Developed and implemented sales and marketing plans to expand use of nutritional products throughout hospitals and long term care facilities.

· Board Member New board is focused on promoting manufacturing at both the state and congressional level in order to improve the sector in Arizona.
· Congressman Ed Pastor
· Work with Congressman Ed Pastor to promote manufacturing in South Phoenix and Arizona as a whole. Have worked in conjunction with him to get contractors to subcontract out to Arizona-based businesses.
· Congressman JD Hayworth
· Participated in several small business roundtables designed to explore ways to encourage small business utilization by larger Arizona corporations through the use of tax credits and other mechanisms.
· Various
· Have also worked with staff from the Senate Committee on Small Business and the Minority Business Development Agency in Washington DC. Issues ranged from cost of healthcare to contract bundling.
