Lea Marquez-Peterson is a business broker and the owner of TucsonBizForSale.com. Previously, she was a multi unit retailer in Arizona for several years. In addition, Lea is the Executive Director of the Greater Tucson Leadership – an organization which strives to inspire community leaders to take action on issues in our community. Lea is the Founder and Past Chairperson of the Pima County Small Business Commission and a Past Chairperson of the City of Tucson’s Small Business Commission. She has been appointed by Governor Napolitano to the Governor’s Small Business Council, and is a Past President of the local chapter of NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners). Lea is also the Secretary of the board for the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Lea has been recognized with several awards. Most recently the 2007 Entrepreneurial Fellowship Award by the McGuire Entrepreneurship program at the University of Arizona, and the 2007 Woman of Influence award presented by Inside Tucson Business.
