Ms. Choo Tay founded media88 in 1995. Growing from an Internet Boutique to a full-service Integrated Marketing and Web Strategy firm, the company continues to deliver high quality work and services consistently under her leadership. As a pioneer Internet and web design firm since 1995, Tay has successfully delivered web presences for many businesses and non-profit organizations including the Super Bowl XXX NFL Cheerleading squads' website. During the last two years she led a team of experts in the development and implementation of a suite of innovative web applications to help mid-size businesses and non-profit organizations to achieve results through e-mail marketing and web strategy.
During the course of her business endeavor, Tay has been the publisher of The Women News, AzTODAY, AzAsian.com, and the multilingual Arizona Asian-Pacific Yellow Pages for seven years.
Tay was born in Malaysia and grew up in a very diverse cultural environment. Besides English language, she speaks fluent Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese. She received her higher education in London, England. Over the years, she traveled extensively around the world - from Asia, to South Pacific Islands, to Europe and America. She moved to Arizona In 1982 bringing with her a rich cultural experience to the Arizona community.
Helping others is Tay's passion. She has been actively engaging in community service for over 20 years. Besides serving the Governor's Small Business Council, she also serves as a member of the boards at the Herberger Theater Center, NAWBO Phoenix Chapter (National Women's Association of Business Owners), the Attorney General Community Justice Council, and an advisory committee member to the Chancellor of Maricopa Community Colleges. In year 2000, she received an international award, "Outstanding Woman Award in Community Service" by BLIA - an international organization.
